  • Media writing skills – solid drafts of press releases, announcements, fact sheets, blog posts bylines for clients
  • Strong copy editing and proofreading skills
  • Possess refined writing skills with the understanding of target audience
  • Gathering all journalist feedback and reporting this to AMs/ Acct Directors following sell-ins.
  • Event management
  • Relationships with key media contacts
  • Understanding of media landscape
  • Pitches stories and finds creative angles

  • Articulates recommendations to the client 

Digital Skills

  • Basic understanding of Hubspot
  • Understanding of Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of how social can complement comms work
  • Ability to write Google ad campaigns

Administrative/agency operations

  • With AD – ensures activity plans, agendas and reports are completed delivered to client
  • Meets all deadlines
  • Aware of client’s objectives
  • Don’t go over budget or record excessive hours to a client, without permission from your boss
  • Record hours and expenses, promptly, accurately
  • Time management on multiple accounts, using Monday.com

Client Services

  • Main day to day client liaison
  • Meets all deadlines
  • Contributes in meetings
  • Understands clients, their market and competitors
  • Provide recommendations for executing various campaign components
  • Prepare ahead of meetings

Account Management

  • Begin to build Account Management skills
  • Flags problems on accounts and offers early solutions
